Project 2024

I was so excited and honored to be in Chicago for the DNC convention to participate in the nomination of Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz for President and Vice-President of the United States!  Being there in person was the experience of a lifetime.  I know you were watching and that this historic moment means a lot to you too.

We have an assignment now - to fully execute and complete Project 2024.  That is, we must engage with voters so they show up like they've never done before to vote from the top of the ballot to the bottom for Democrats, for freedom and for our shared values.  WIth all of the elation of the convention and the baggage the former President carries, it can be hard to remember that this election is STILL an UPHILL BATTLE for Democrats. The Electoral Map favors Republicans, and Americans are still distressed about high prices and chaos at the southern border. No one can take anything for granted, as they did in 2016 when Trump pulled off his surprise victory. So let's get to work!

Were you inspired like me?

Being there in person with so many dedicated colleagues and local Party activists was exhilarating and inspiring.  It's beyond words to describe.  I know this moment is one we will all reflect on and talk about with our children and our grandchildren.  They will ask us where we stood, what we stood for and what we did.  Let us have no regrets.  Let's work hard.

Join Project 2024 NOW!

If we want to go forward and protect our freedom, we need to work hard NOW to win big on November 5.  Campaigns are a numbers game and a team sport.  The more people who knock more doors, write more postcards, talk to more voters, drive more voters to the polls, work the polls to make sure every vote counts, the more votes we get.  It's that simple.

What can YOU do?

Fill your plate with as much as you can in the next 75 days.  That's all we have to get the job done!

  • Put your oxygen mask on first.  Check your voter registration NOW to make sure it's active, that your address is correct and that your name is spelled correctly.  Go to MVP.SOS.GA.GOV before the deadline to register or update your registration on OCT. 7.

  • Make sure everyone you know and meet (yes, even the check out person at the grocery) is ready to vote and that they know early voting at any poll location in their county starts on OCT. 15.  You can share non-partisan voting information with this QR Code or click on it to go to the link you can share.

Give your time and your treasure.  You can volunteer for any Democrat in or outside your district to knock doors, text or call voters, write postcards, be a poll worker or a poll watcher, and, of course, you can give to help fund campaigns for races down the ballot.

  • Find local events on Mobilize

  • Contribute to and volunteer for local candidates in swing districts.  These candidates are working hard to get out the vote on the ground, and your money goes a long way. It's not an exaggeration to say that a local candidate's race can make the difference as to whether Kamala wins or not! And take it from me -- each of these candidates is the real deal -- they get it, they are working hard, they are raising money!

  • Come support these and other terrific candidates at a fundraiser at my home on September 10th!
